Our Lady's is a voluntary Aided, Primary, Co-educational
School, for pupils aged from 4 to 11 years old. The school is committed
to the Christian ideals as they grow into adult members of the society.
In choosing our Lady's for your child you will therefor make a commitment
to work closely with the school and Parish, in the nurturing and
strengthening of their faith. For our part, we will make provision
to encourage and support your child to develop their talents and
skills, so that they can face the future with confidence.
Pastoral Care
As we value our home/school/parish links we are anxious
to promote ideals of care and consideration towards each other.
Our Lady's parish and school have a desire to be of support in all
aspects of their child's devolpment-academic, spiritual, social
and emotional. Occasionally, difficulties may occur and we would
ask you to contact school as soon as possible so that we can help
remedy the situation.
We keep parents informed of events at school promoting
home/school liaison through regular newsletters. Parents enter into
a two-day dialogue with staff through the home-school reading diary
and through the homework diary. Homework is set for each year group.
It is a valuable way of enabling parents to keep abreast of their
child's progress and areas of study as well as an added means of
communication between home and school.
