Music is our daily medicine which aids far better communication with others and ourselves (Evelyn Glennie OBE, Percussionist)

Children are given the opportunities to both listen to music from a variety of different cultures and times, and to compose their own. At Our lady's we follow the QCA scheme of work for music. The children are given the opportunity to learn the recorder and guitar in lunchtime clubs. We also work very closely alongside St Peter and St Paul's Catholic Secondary School music teacher to help prepare for special musical events.
